Padel Tennis Court Construction

Fast paced, accessible, highly social, and addictive - it’s easy to see why padel is one of the fastest expanding sports in the world. Padel has been described as a cross between tennis and squash, easy to play, fun and extremely sociable. It’s played on an enclosed court that’s two thirds the size of a tennis court and as exciting for experts as it is for players of mixed abilities and ages.

Choosing a padel court
Each and every installation is unique. Site topography will affect wind, shade, drainage, and budget. To maximise both the aesthetics and playing experience, the court frame, surface, its location, and aspect must all be tailored specifically to individual requirements.

The padel court construction process

Commercial opportunity
In 2019 there were just 50 padel courts in the UK. Four years later, that number is now around 250 with an estimated 90,000 players, and with the UK sport market ever hungrier for padel it’s anticipated that by 2026 the number of UK courts will near a thousand. Alongside the growth in court numbers, an entire ecosystem is building around the sport giving rise to significant opportunities for investment and commercial ventures.
